Diné (Navajo) artist Jared Yazzie has combined traditional Navajo rug weaving designs with his own contemporary artistic style to create his New Phase design, now available in our New Phase Crew Socks. The base of the Jared's New Phase design is built on traditional woven rug Chief Blankets, which are categorized by three design phases; phase one is identified by straight lines and color blocks. From there, Jared added intricate patterns and fine details, marrying traditional Navajo design with his own style.
